Aris beach is in the north coast, in the village Karavostamo. It is named after the torrent Aris River that enters the sea here, after creating a marvelous wetland with rare flora and fauna.
It is one of Ikaria’s best beaches! The nice atmosphere on the beach is enhanced by surrounding lush vegetation and a small lake formed by the stream.
Tip! The beach is sandy and pebbled, very popular, but without umbrellas and sun lounges.
Access
The beach is accessed on foot down from the main asphalt road, where private vehicles can be left.
