The reservoir of Agios Kirykos is located about 0.2 kilometers north of the village Christos in the south part of the island. It is an out of river reservoir with visible membrane, an artificial wetland, with an area of 16.4 acres and fresh water coming from drilling.
Its use is intended to cover part of the needs of the settlement of Agios Kirykos, in water supply and irrigation. Because of the apparent membrane and the fence around it, the reservoir has no biological value. There is not a special protection regime for this region.
